Job summary

CareNow urgent care in Richmond is seeking a X-ray Tech/Medical Assistant to join a team focused on high-quality patient care. You will take vital signs, perform imaging studies, document in the EHR, and assist with front-desk tasks as needed.

Requirements include 1+ year in clinical care, RT/LMRT license in state of residency, high school diploma, and BLS certification within 30 days. CareNow is an HCA Healthcare network clinic offering comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) required.
• RT or LMRT license in state of residency required.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Preferred: AAMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and chart auditing.
• Maintain radiology and lab activity records and logs.
