Job summary

CareNow is seeking a Multi-Tech LMRT to join our urgent care team in Tennessee. The role involves assisting providers with patient care, taking vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tasks, while ensuring exam rooms are ready and stocked.

You will work closely with front desk staff, check patients in/out, and help maintain records and patient flow to ensure a positive experience. Strong LMRT credentials and BLS readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate as required by state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services.
• Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Performs various clinical duties in support of providers and Nursing staff including vital signs, patient history, lab specimens and EKGs; may apply splints, dressings and bandages; prepares and cleans exam rooms.
• Check patients in and out of the computer and assist with front desk duties.
• Greet patients, check in/out, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
• Maintains records and logs on activities including inhouse lab work, drug screens and lab work sent out to other labs.
• Performs equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
• Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
