Job summary

Munson Lakes Nutrition, a joint venture with Land O’Lakes, Inc., seeks a Sales Specialist in Howard Lake, MN to manage and grow assigned customer accounts, coordinate internal resources, and drive sales while delivering excellent customer service.

This remote role requires travel to customer sites; you will collaborate with nutritional consultants, provide forage and feed insights, and report on sales activities. A bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture/business or equivalent experience (candidates with pending degree may be considered).
• 1+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Strong interest in livestock care and agricultural products.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic business/financial knowledge and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Account & Relationship Management: serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts; build and strengthen long-term relationships; coordinate with internal teams to meet expectations.
• Sales & Growth: manage accounts to achieve sales and retention objectives; communicate programs, promotions, pricing, and new offerings; identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and develop new business.
• Nutritional Support: assist in obtaining forage and feed samples; provide observations and support to clients’ nutritional professionals; stay updated on product trends.
• Communication & Reporting: submit sales call reports and account updates; align with sales management on strategies; attend training and product sessions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture/business or equivalent experience
