Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily feeding of livestock through a supervisory structure.
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan and direct work.
• Monitor cattle intake and feed distribution according to patterns and nutritionist guidelines.
• Ensure accurate feed delivery and timeliness of distribution.
• Minimize truck downtime by scheduling maintenance and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain feeding records and assist in budgeting and cost control.
• Provide safety training and enforce safety policies; maintain compliance.
