Job summary

Five Rivers Cattle Feeding seeks a supervisory professional to lead daily livestock feeding and manage a team of supervisors and workers. You will coordinate feeding schedules, monitor cattle intake, and ensure accurate feed delivery while upholding safety and company policies.

Responsibilities include interviewing and training staff, planning work, and maintaining feeding records and budgets. The role requires an undergraduate degree or related experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Database software.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work with probability, statistics, and practical math concepts.
• Ability to solve practical problems with varying standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of workers engaged in daily livestock feeding personally or through supervisors.
• Interview, hire, train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance.
• Monitor cattle intake and feed distribution; ensure timely, accurate feed delivery.
• Schedule maintenance to minimize truck downtime and manage budgets and expenses.
• Maintain feeding records; manage department supplies and inventories.
• Promote safe work practices and conduct regular safety training; enforce policies.
