Job summary

The role requires a BSN with an MSN or active enrollment, BLS certification, and 3+ years of nursing or healthcare experience, with preference for Magnet-certified professionals and prior supervisory background.

Qualifications

• Requires a BSN (or higher) in nursing; active state license.
• Master's degree in nursing preferred or actively pursuing.
• BLS certification required.
• Magnet-recognized certification for specialty area preferred.
• Three years of nursing or health care experience with increasing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of designated departments or units in the hospital.
• Develop operating and capital budgets, monitor budget performance, and explain variances.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and performance reviews to team members.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and federal/state regulations; update policies as needed.
• Handle escalations and coordinate patient care across age-specific needs.
