Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) strongly encouraged within three years of hire for Solid Organ Transplant.
• OCN or TCTCN certification required within two years of hire for Bone Marrow Transplant.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting; transplant/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate individualized care plans for pre- and post-transplant patients.
• Oversee clinical, psychological, and financial needs of the patient.
• Arrange pre-procedure tests and transplant candidacy reviews.
• Manage transplant waitlist and organ offers; coordinate transplant workflow.
• Coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings; monitor status.
• Educate patients and families about the transplant process.
