Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a skilled video operator to manage live show video elements for assigned venues, projects, or events, ensuring top show quality and guest experience. You may work independently and report to a Lead Tech or above. Education: technical school, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience within the assigned technical discipline.
• Proficient knowledge of live show camera operation, signal flow, installing and operating projectors, LED walls, and video systems, and computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience and background in theme park/theater environments.

Responsibilities

• Function as the video operator for an assigned Entertainment venue, project, and/or event.
• Operate video equipment for live shows, playback presentations, and manage camera signal flow for small events.
• Participate in installation/setup, storage, strike, and maintenance of video equipment; escalate issues to Lead Tech or management.
• Support team objectives by completing tasks with guidance and accountability.
• Maintain venue/event inventory of all audio/video equipment.
• Communicate technical information clearly to other disciplines and team members.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety policies and participate in related activities.
