Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking an experienced Entertainment Show Control Technician to operate and execute shows via Show Control systems, coordinating lighting, audio, video, lasers, fountains and effects with precise timing.

Responsibilities include running the Entertainment Control Room, troubleshooting equipment, communicating with Ride Show, Show Systems and vendors, and maintaining daily checklists and documentation; 3–5 years in a technical capacity within theme parks preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience with advanced show control systems in theme park/theater.
• Fundamental knowledge of networking protocols for AVL systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Entertainment Control Room and show systems.
• Ensure timing and coordination of lighting, audio, and video.
• Troubleshoot equipment and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain technical documentation and checklists.
• Collaborate with Ride Show, Show Systems, and vendors.
• Attend on-property workshops to expand knowledge.
