Everforth Apex Systems in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Trust & Safety Specialist to serve as a first responder for live community safety services and to support real-time operational efforts during active events.

You will document workflows, identify automation opportunities, and help build scaleable SOPs while coordinating with partners and escalating high-risk situations to local agencies as needed. This role requires 3+ years in trust & safety or related fields and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in trust & safety operations or related fields.
• Strong judgment in time-sensitive situations.
• Excellent written communication for partner coordination.
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and escalation processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to operational issues across multiple community safety services.
• Support third-party partners in initiating and managing service events.
• Coordinate with reporters during active events to ensure accurate data and notifications.
• Supervise AI-assisted workflows, flag high-risk events and escalate to local agencies as needed.
• Maintain detailed incident logs and post-event retrospectives.
• Develop and document SOPs for each service.
• Identify manual processes suitable for automation and partner with engineering to implement improvements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with defined response service-level agreements.
