Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to bridge security engineering and customer enablement. Remote with Mountain View, CA location.

The role focuses on deploying tailored security instances, monitoring for intrusions, and strengthening customer SOC operations. The candidate will perform threat hunts, forensics, and post-incident guidance, while embedding secure SDLC practices and automated testing pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years in security engineering, and 5 years in security assessments or vulnerability research.
• 1 year leading teams or projects in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement monitoring strategies, response plans, and awareness programs.
• Use threat intelligence to hunt threats and deliver post-incident reports.
• Conduct threat hunts and forensic analysis with actionable guidance.
• Embed secure coding practices and automate evaluation pipelines.
• Research vulnerabilities in core infrastructure and AI systems.
