Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Service Technician in Orlando, FL for a 6-month contract to hire. You will troubleshoot and repair security systems (analog/IP/addressable), program equipment, and produce reports and field logs.

The role requires reliable transportation and a clear background check, with nice-to-have AV experience and manufacturer-product certificates. The position offers an opportunity to work across a broad range of security solutions and to join a world-class IT services company

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair security systems including analog, IP, addressable, and networked solutions.
• Program and maintain intermediate equipment and systems including intrusion detection, video surveillance, asset protection, environmental detection, AV systems, Paging, holdup/duress, integrated systems and equipment related to the alarm monitoring station.
• Use a variety of troubleshooting tools to analyze systems and detect fault conditions.
• Produce repair reports in accordance with best practices for customer acceptance and billing information.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs of activity.
• Responsible for complex troubleshooting and effective resolution.
• Responsible for programming systems via laptop computers.

Service Technician 6 month contract to hire Orlando FL (Orange County & Volusia County) $25hr to $31hr

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Troubleshoot and repair security systems including analog, IP, addressable, and networked solutions.
• Program and maintain intermediate equipment and systems including intrusion detection, video surveillance, asset protection, environmental detection, Audio visual systems, Paging, holdup/duress, integrated systems and equipment related to the alarm monitoring station.
• Use a variety of troubleshooting tools to analyze systems and detect fault conditions.
• Produce repair reports in accordance with best practices for customer acceptance and billing information.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs of activity.
• Responsible for complex troubleshooting and effective resolution.
• Responsible for programming systems via laptop computers.
