Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure strict allergen safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site, live-in position requires thriving under pressure, coordinating with camp leadership, and maintaining high sanitation and portion-control practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking, adaptable with ingredients, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts.
• Lead and train kitchen staff and maintain high-energy environment.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and maintain top sanitation standards.
• Coordinate inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
