Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Property Attendant to maintain a safe, quiet, and comfortable environment for guests at our Arlington property. The role requires nightly property rounds, guest interaction, incident documentation, and coordination with the General Manager and authorities as needed.

This position emphasizes on-site duties, on-call coverage, and adherence to procedures for guest access, maintenance requests, and safety protocols while living on site during the term of employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret information found in a variety of internal hotel information.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in an efficient manner to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to self-supervise and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Keep watch on the property when the office is closed.
• Report safety or security issues to the General Manager or authorities as warranted.
• Respond to guest needs, complaints and/or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Establish good communication with property guests.
• Ensure storage and employee areas are secured nightly.
• Note issues on Daily Action Plan for investigation by the General Manager.
• Call General Manager or Regional Operations Manager for urgent questions/concerns.
• Verify ID and provide access to rooms for guests who are locked out.
• Assist guests with minor maintenance issues.
• Document all rounds and incidents on the Property Attendant Checklist.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain property cleanliness and remove trash/debris.
• Follow on-call schedule.
• Complete 3 inspections on nights scheduled (7:00 PM, 9:00 PM, after midnight).
• For Sundays, perform rounds per operating hours and open/closed status.
