Job summary

NBE NBA Entertainment seeks a Game Production Lead, Local Media to plan and execute high-caliber NBA game broadcasts across Local Media. You will supervise producers, directors, talent, and staff, ensuring editorial alignment and operational excellence for all market productions.

Lead detailed production plans, rundowns, and staffing while embracing REMI workflows, cloud-based production, and innovative techniques to elevate storytelling across linear and digital platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in live sports television production or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience producing/directing live sports broadcasts.
• Experience managing live production teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with REMI, centralized production, or cloud-enabled workflows (preferred).
• Experience collaborating with engineering, production technology, graphics, and distribution teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day planning and execution of live NBA game broadcasts across assigned Local Media productions.
• Partner with Content Planning to execute editorial priorities and game presentation elements.
• Supervise producers, directors, talent, and other production staff.
• Develop game production plans, rundowns, staffing plans, and timelines.
• Ensure production quality and storytelling consistency across markets.
• Collaborate to leverage REMI, cloud workflows, and emerging tech in broadcasts.
• Coordinate with graphics and distribution teams to meet technical specs.
• Lead rehearsals, pre-production meetings, and post-game reviews.
