Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on campus and providing care for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like setting.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, devotions, budgeting, and driving students to activities; initial 9-on/3-off schedule with eventual placement in a stable student home, plus strong benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year marriage required for both spouses.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
