Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8-13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role starts with a 9-on/3-off cycle, with transition to a placed houseparent.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years (required).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
