Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Partners reside in on-campus student homes, providing care and guidance for 8–13 students, creating a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, wellness, driving students to activities, and daily devotions. Compensation includes housing, benefits, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Smokefree and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Integrity and professionalism in role model duties.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
