Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. A married couple lives in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision and support for 8–13 students. The role fosters a family-like environment to support students’ development.

Initial duties cover multiple homes with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule; later transition to a placed houseparent with a single student home. Consideration requires both spouses to complete individual applications.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.

Aufgaben

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
