SHELTER, Inc. in Pittsburg, CA is seeking a Live-In House Leader to support residents in a single-family home under our Mental Health Services Act program expansion. The role requires living on site in a shared living environment.

Compensation is $17.41 per hour with a free bedroom onsite; the position is part-time, non-exempt, 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday with flexible shifts. You will enforce house rules, respond to emergencies, assist with move-ins/move-outs, and coordinate with staff to

• 1+ years community-based social services experience or related work with homeless adults or individuals with mental health challenges.
• Ability to reside in a shared living environment and support residents with varying needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety, fire, and health standards relevant to residential facilities.

• Enforce house rules, policies, and safety protocols to maintain order.
• Manage overnight concerns and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Assist with moving furniture and housewares for move-ins/outs.
