Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Greensboro, NC is seeking an Assistant Management two-person team to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our senior living community. The pair will work with the Community Manager to ensure resident happiness, occupancy goals, and a positive living environment.

This live-in role offers a competitive starting salary of $60,000–$70,000 per year, with opportunity for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a two-person team with the Community Manager to provide a positive living environment for residents and a safe, motivating work atmosphere for staff.
• Willingness and ability to live on-site in an assigned apartment.
• Prior management experience including operational and financial responsibilities with staff, customer service and payroll as applicable.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written, with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the retirement community.
• Work closely with the Community Manager and fellow Assistant Manager to meet occupancy, budget and resident happiness goals.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support care, safety, and service delivery for residents.
