Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp locations. This seasonal, on-site contract (May–Sept) requires managing daily culinary operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, and allergen safety in a high-volume setting.

You will live on-site for the duration, lead a fast-paced kitchen team, enforce strict health standards, and partner with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office to deliver high-quality meals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager certification; Allergens experience required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, timely meals.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Enforce allergy protocols and health sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Track inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Liaise between kitchen, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
