Job summary

The University of Texas at El Paso seeks an on-site Residence Life Professional to lead housing operations. You will supervise Resident Assistants and Desk Assistants, oversee training, and manage crisis response, student conduct, and community development in on‑campus housing.

The role requires collaboration with campus offices, supervision of staff, evening/weekend availability, and a commitment to a residence-life program aligned with UTEP's mission.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Three years of professional experience in on-campus housing or residence life, with supervision of student staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, supervision, and development for Resident Assistants and Desk Assistants; direct supervision of 8–12 student staff.
• Provides crisis management and administrative oversight within the designated area.
• Oversees staff training, performance reviews, and program development.
• Coordinates student conduct processes and collaboration with campus offices.
• Advises hall council and supports student leadership opportunities.
• Manages summer operations, move‑in/out periods, and on-site housing logistics.
• Collaborates with campus partners to ensure safety, resources, and effective housing operations.
