Job summary

Crown Behavioral Health in Columbus, Ohio seeks a House Mom and House Dad to lead our SUD transitional living homes. This live-in/onsite role combines structured recovery housing with mentorship in a family-style environment, aligned with CARF expectations and Ohio Recovery Housing standards.

You will supervise daily routines, enforce house rules, monitor medications storage, coordinate treatment logistics, and provide recovery-focused guidance while maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, and naloxone administration training required.
• Overdose recognition and trauma-informed care training.
• HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality training.
• Mandatory reporting of abuse, neglect, and exploitation under Ohio law.

Responsibilities

• Model recovery-supportive culture and enforce house rules.
• Monitor daily schedules, curfew, and house rules; supervise activities.
• Conduct head counts, wellness checks, and bed checks per protocol.
• Observe medication storage and assist with administration as policy allows.
• Coordinate transportation or logistics for treatment and approved outings.
• Complete daily logs, incident reports, and shift-change notes.
• Provide mentorship grounded in recovery, professionalism, and appropriate boundaries.
