Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality is seeking an On-Site Manager to live at the Austin North Central hotel and supervise weekend operations and overnight on-call coverage (Wednesday-Sunday). You’ll act as Manager on Duty, lead the Front Desk team, and support budget, staff management, and guest satisfaction while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• MANDATORY requirement to live on site OR within 30 minutes of the hotel when on call.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in a management role in the Hospitality industry, with significant supervisory and personnel management responsibilities.
• Experience managing operations within major hotel brands (e.g., Choice, IHG, Marriott).
• Experience with budgeting, financial management, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Team Management: direct responsibility for the Front Desk team including hiring, discipline, scheduling, and annual performance appraisals.
• Weekend Supervision: directs the work of all front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance during weekend shifts when GM is absent.
• Financial & Administrative Support: assists the GM in cash management, budgetary control, and payroll approval.
• Guest Experience & Compliance: ensure highest standards of customer service and meet with guests for feedback.
• Operational Execution: ensure all front desk operations and on-call shifts comply with brand standards.
