Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a Community Manager in West Covina, CA. You will oversee operations, budgeting, marketing, leasing, and resident relations to drive satisfaction and financial performance.

This role requires 24/7 on-call availability, on-site housing, and leadership of a property team to maintain Sun Homes standards. You will manage rent collection, vendor invoices, and ensure adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business (Preferred).
• 2 years in property management experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience (Required).
• 6 months in prior sales and leasing experience (Required).
• 6 months in previous experience using NetSuite (Preferred).
• General knowledge of maintenance and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Markets homes for sale and oversees listing documents.
• Manages rent collection and accounts receivable processes.
• Handles delinquencies and eviction procedures per policy.
• Monitors and approves operating and sales-related invoices.
• Resolves complaints and ensures timely responses.
• Oversees team selection, development, and policy compliance.
• Leads LPPs management, repairs, leasing, and renovations.
• Ensures compliance with fair housing laws and regulations.
• Reviews residency applications and lease renewals.
• Travels within property for inspections and on-site duties.
