Qualifications

• Five+ years of residential multifamily property management/apartment maintenance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, boilers.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Work orders: Efficiently complete all daily work orders.
• Communicate delays in completing a work order with the supervisor in the management office.
• Troubleshoot repair and maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry.
• Assist the property manager in scheduling annual apartment inspections and during move-in/move-out inspections.
• Coordinate turnover repairs and services with the office team to stay on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records for preventative maintenance, building mechanicals, service requests, and turnover status; know contracts and suppliers.
• Stay current on applicable building codes and safety standards.
• Maintain trash areas and ensure safety compliance per OSHA.
• Respond to emergency calls after hours per company policy.
• If applicable: assist in snow removal during snow events.
• Perform other duties as outlined in the job description.
