Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. This on-site, live-in position oversees daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety during a high-volume season.

The role requires 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role, ServSafe Manager certification, and the ability to work 6 days a week (70+ hours). Competitive pay, bonus, room and board, and travel allowances are provided for the

Qualifications

4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
ServSafe Manager certification; Allergens certification required before start date.
Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and live on-site.

Responsibilities

Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
Ensure scratch cooking execution, portion control, menu specs, and timely meal service.
Strict allergen safety management and high Health Department sanitation standards.
Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and track daily reporting.
Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
