Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks full-time Flex Houseparents—a two-person married couple living on campus to supervise and guide a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, household routines, and student wellness, with med administration and transport to activities.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both 27+, hold a high school diploma or GED, and commit to a smoke- and weapon-free campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple required.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Two-person role for couples, living on campus.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
