Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples for Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus with 8–13 students in a home. Nine days on duty followed by three days off, with potential to transition to a placed houseparent role in the same student home.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, medications, driving to activities, devotions, chapel, and budgeting. Benefits include relocation assistance, paid training, and housing plus meals on duty.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for a legally married couple (minimum two years).
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet policy allows fish and one approved dog.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; able to be certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff are role models.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
