Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, guiding 8-13 students, with a nine-on/three-off duty cycle and potential transition to a placed houseparent role.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, wellness, activities, devotions, and budgeting. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel participation.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
