Job summary

CSI Support & Development is seeking an Emergency Response Person to live on-site at Constitution Co-op, Charlestown, MA, to respond to emergencies from 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. on weekdays and 24/7 on weekends.

The role requires reliability, calm under pressure, and strong interpersonal skills to communicate with co-op members and responders. Responsibilities include assessing call priority, dispatching appropriate responders, providing pre-arrival instructions, basic grounds maintenance, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding job requiring standing and walking long periods.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
• Assess the level of priority for each call received.
• Identify the appropriate departments, vehicles, and personnel to dispatch to scenes.
• Dispatch medical, police, fire, and search and rescue first-responders as appropriate.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers.
• Snow removal and general grounds maintenance.
• Light cleaning of community bathrooms and other duties as instructed by immediate supervisor.
• Communicate with members, employees, and third-party organizations effectively.
• Maintain a positive demeanor during difficult situations.
