Job summary

Clinical & Support Options, Inc. is seeking a Co-Response Clinician Supervisor to support Leverett and surrounding communities. The role involves responding with police to 911 calls, conducting urgent crisis assessments, and delivering short-term intervention.

You will lead co-response initiatives, coordinate crisis services, and represent CSO at community events and task forces. A clinical master's is required, with license eligibility preferred and a valid driver's license essential.

Job description

Co-Response Clinical Supervisor, Leverett

CSO is looking for a Co-Response Clinician for our Emergency Services Team to support Leverett and surrounding towns.

The Co-Response Clinician sits at the Leverett Police Department and responds with law enforcement to 911 calls by providing urgent evaluation, crisis assessment and intervention to individuals experiencing a mental health emergency.

As a Co-Response Clinician:

You Will:

  • Actively participate in 911 and emergency calls at the direction/request of partnering police departments
  • Provide behavioral health assessments to individuals and families in crisis who encounter the police
  • Provide initial crisis intervention services to individuals in need, along with crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial intervention, when appropriate
  • Provide leadership in development of co-response model and represent the program in a prepared and professional manner at community events, task forces, and public speaking engagements
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of managed care and health insurance systems; provide other clinicians with managed care information and resources pertinent to the crises being managed

Your Background:

  • Clinical Master's degree (required)
  • Clinical license or license eligibility as well as Clinical experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
