Clinical & Support Options, Inc. seeks a Co-Response Clinician to join our Emergency Services Team in Leverett, MA, stationed at the Leverett Police Department.

The clinician responds with law enforcement to 911 calls, delivering urgent evaluation, crisis assessment and short-term intervention for individuals in mental health crisis. The role requires a Clinical Master’s degree, licensure or eligibility, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Clinical Master's degree is required.
• Clinical license or license eligibility is preferred; clinical experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in 911 and emergency calls at the direction/request of partnering police departments.
• Provide behavioral health assessments to individuals and families in crisis who encounter the police.
• Provide initial crisis intervention services and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up when appropriate.
• Provide leadership in development of the co-response model and represent the program at community events and task forces.
