Job summary

InVision Human Services is hiring Live-In Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide care, support, and companionship to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living tasks, manage medications, and help participants stay engaged in community activities.

The role requires on-site living, flexible hours, and a compassionate approach. Valid driver’s license and background checks are mandatory; prior IDD experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours and live on-site during scheduled shifts.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Experience with 6400 regulations is a plus.
• Successful completion of motor vehicle records and background check.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals, etc.).
• Assist with medication administration.
• Drive individuals to appointments, social activities, and community outings.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive living environment.
• Document services provided and monitored progress toward individual goals.
• Be a role model and advocate for independence and dignity.
