Job summary

InVision Human Services seeks dedicated Live-In Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care and companionship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves personal care, medication administration, and facilitating transportation to appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and a nurturing demeanor.
• Willingness to reside on-site during scheduled shifts.
• Prior experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plus.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• Valid drivers license and access to reliable vehicle.
• Familiarity with 6400 regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, community events, and social outings.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and track progress toward personal goals.
• Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in everyday life.
