Job summary

Resources for Human Development seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs in community settings.

The DSP will assist with daily living, provide supervision, transport, and documentation while promoting independence. A valid driver’s license and FBI clearance may be required, with part‑time schedules available and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to obtain FBI clearance when applicable.
• Basic computer and internet proficiency including emailing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support based on ISP goals.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Transport to appointments, activities, and community events.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Promote independence and informed decision‑making.
