Integrated Life Choices is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across home and community settings. You will work independently, promoting independence, safety, and person-centered care while documenting each shift's activities.

The role emphasizes rights education, self-advocacy, transportation, and participation in meaningful activities, with full background checks and a valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Background checks required: state registry and criminal background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance needed.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in understanding and exercising their rights.
• Encourage independent living and self-advocacy.
• Provide person-centered supports to meet individual needs.
• Promote positive interactions and social connections.
• Arrange transportation for the people served.
• Teach life skills to improve daily living.
• Support participation in groups aligned with interests.
• Follow Positive Support Programs for daily interactions.
• Assist with personal hygiene and medical needs, including medication administration.
• Document activities and outcomes at the end of each shift.
• Engage vocational clients in planned activities that foster community inclusion.
