Job summary

InVision Human Services is seeking a compassionate Live-In Direct Support Professional to provide care, support, and companionship to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes helping with daily living tasks, medication assistance, and transportation to activities.

The position requires flexible hours and living on-site during shifts, with a focus on safety, dignity, and promoting independence. A/HSD GED, driver’s license, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred.
• Must be able to live on-site during scheduled shifts.
• Experience with 6400 regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals).
• Assist with medication administration.
• Drive individuals to appointments, social activities, and community outings.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive living environment.
• Document services provided and progress toward goals.
• Be a role model and advocate for independence and dignity.
