Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will live in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, manage routines, and support academic, emotional, and social development in a family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Two-person couple role, married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students.
• For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for 8–13 students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
