Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on its campus in Hershey, PA. The role involves living in on-campus student homes and supervising a group of 8–13 students, providing guidance, care, and developmental support in a family-like setting.

You will begin by supporting multiple homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule, then transition to a placed role with a consistent student home. A rewarding, mission-driven career awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Must be a legally married couple for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
