Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples to live in on-campus homes and care for groups of 8–13 students. You will supervise daily life, coordinate routines, and support students’ academic, emotional, and social development.

The position starts with a nine-on / three-off cycle, with potential transition to a placed houseparent role. Benefits include housing, meals, and comprehensive coverage.

Formación

• Experience with youth work or volunteering is required.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; alcohol not permitted while on duty.
• Pet limits: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to get certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff are role models.

Responsabilidades

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
