Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at our summer camp program.

You will oversee daily culinary operations, manage staff, budgets, and allergen safety, while delivering scratch-cooked meals in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This seasonal contract requires living on-site in rustic settings, with a minimum 6-day/70-hour week and comprehensive room and board.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification with Allergens knowledge.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and maintain health department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, and budgeting with daily reporting.
• Serve as the liaison between kitchen operations, campers, leadership, and Wolfoods office.
