Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site, rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This seasonal, full-time position runs May to Sept, with a 6-day/70-hour week, competitive pay, bonus opportunities, and full room and board.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities; must be willing to live on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train Front of House and kitchen staff.
• Oversee culinary operations: portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, purchasing, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
