Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Food Service Operations Director to manage all daily culinary and service operations at a fast-paced summer camp. This on-site, live-in role oversees staff, budgeting, and allergen safety to ensure top-tier dining experiences for campers.

You will lead a high-energy team across FOH and kitchen, ensuring scratch cooking, strict safety protocols, and timely meal service while coordinating with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; allergens knowledge required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to live on-site and work a 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train FOH and kitchen staff, fostering a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Control budgets, inventory, orders, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods office.
