Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Service Lead in Greenville, MS to supervise the Merchandising Service team and optimize project execution across displays and planograms.

You will coach and develop 11–21 associates, manage budgets, and partner with field project managers on large labor projects while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years customer service or retail experience in a fast-paced environment (or 1 year Lowe's store experience).
• 1 year experience as a team lead or leading others in an informal capacity.

Responsibilities

• Schedules Merchandising Service team and manages resources for the team to drive efficient project execution.
• Guides Merchandising Service Associates around project priorities, scheduling, expectations, and needs.
• Delivers onboarding and training, provides on-the-job coaching, and mentors MSAs.
• Coaches MSAs on performance.
• Creates tailored development plans for MSAs by analyzing metrics and individual strengths, weaknesses, and needs.
• Handles disciplinary actions and partners with HR business partner.
• Manages project, travel, display, fixture expenses and weekly payroll.
• Identifies and resolves project and/or store-level issues using available resources.
• Summarizes and communicates project information, updates, and feedback to store team, field leaders, and corporate teams.
• Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, merchandising, and displays to be shared across the district, region, and enterprise.
• Lead team to merchandise our live goods in garden centers.
• Lead teams ranging from 11-21 people.
• Collaborate with Field Project managers on large third party labor projects when needed.
• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.
• Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by guiding them through projects.
• Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information.
• Supports those who help customers by providing tools and resources needed.
• Lead daily price change execution, audit and update price labels inside and outside the store.
• Oversees that merchandise is stocked, fronted, and fully packed down according to planogram.
• Confirms signage, reorder stickers, pricing, and product information are accurate.
• Confirms product displays, resets, and bay integrity align with Lowe's specs and safety standards.
• Collaborates with receiving departments to revise staging for reset product and materials.
• Leads buyback item efforts and ensures items are pulled, prepped, and shipped.
• Oversees proper processing of damaged products.
• Detects shoplifting and security risks and communicates to management/Asset Protection.
• Ensures housekeeping standards and programs are followed to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Maintains a safe work environment with daily safety reviews and hazard notices.
• Follows safety requirements including top stock safety and equipment usage.
• Operates store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, POS, CCTV, etc.).
• Maintains POS signage and ensures price changes are activated.
• Ensures storage, fronting, and bay integrity of merchandise and planograms.
