Job summary

Legends Global seeks a seasoned Public Safety Lead to manage the security operations for the Greater Columbus Convention Center campus. You will oversee crowd control, staff supervision, and liaison with event management to ensure safety across multiple facilities and venues.

Responsibilities include directing security teams, coordinating EMS and law enforcement needs, and maintaining incident reports with a focus on proactive safety and exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Public Safety/Security background preferred (Law Enforcement, Military, Fire, EMS, or Security).
• Event coordination/management experience in large venues such as convention centers.
• Strong customer service techniques and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular rounds; identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Prepare detailed shift reports and incident documentation.
• Coordinate with local fire, police, and EMS agencies as needed.
• Supervise Public Safety Event Staff and assist with scheduling.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Public Safety Department.
• Provide superior customer service and staff training.
