Job summary

Fanatics Events is seeking an Operations Director to own the AV, stage, and back-of-house operations for flagship productions, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations. You will lead day-to-day technical setups, coordinate with Live Content and Exhibitor teams, and ensure flawless load-in, show days, and load-out across multi-stage venues.

The role requires 8–10+ years in live event operations, hands-on AV expertise, Airtable proficiency, and a willingness to travel and be onsite for

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in live event production or operations.
• Hands-on AV production experience across staging, audio, video, and lighting.
• Experience managing back of house logistics, perimeter, or site security coordination.
• Advanced Airtable experience—building bases, forms, views, and automations.
• Familiarity with Map Your Show, EXPOCAD, or a2z is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day AV operations across all stages and activations, including inventory, vendor coord, and real-time troubleshooting.
• Lead live content support: run-of-show logistics, rehearsals, load-in/load-out, and show-calling support.
• Manage back-of-house perimeter, barricade layout, vendor routes, and security coordination.
• Oversee end-to-end work order process across electrical, rigging, signage, and labor requests.
