Job summary

Oak View Group in Bismarck, ND is seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator to assist the Marketing Director in promoting venues and events. You will help with graphic design, advertising, media relations, and grassroots efforts for events as assigned.

This role involves social media management, monthly marketing reports, and collaboration with promoters, artist management, and local media to maximize event exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality/Sports Management or related field.
• Basic knowledge of marketing and advertising functions.
• Intermediate knowledge of Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of branding concepts and social media platforms.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event day activities, including pre-event promotions and media.
• Support social media and digital placements with the Director of Marketing.
• Prepare monthly corporate marketing reports and participate in calls with other Oak View Group entities.
• Coordinate marketing efforts between promoters, artist management and local media.
• Develop relationships with third-party partners to promote events.
• Perform graphic design using Canva and Adobe tools and update websites and displays.
