Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) Palm Springs Plaza Theatre is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to assist with planning and executing digital touchpoints for the venue. The role emphasizes email campaigns via Hive, CARBONHOUSE announcements, and organic social support.

Schedule is flexible and the ideal candidate has internship or assistant experience at a venue and a passion for digital marketing. This part-time position pays an hourly rate of $27.00–$29.00 and includes benefits like a 401(k) plan

Qualifications

Experience in digital marketing, preferably in live entertainment venues.
Experience supporting email campaigns, SMS, or social media programs.
Ability to coordinate with marketing staff and venue teams.

Responsibilities

Assist Marketing Director with planning and execution of digital touchpoints for the theatre.
Support with new event announcements and on-sale campaigns.
Build and manage high-volume email and SMS campaigns, including lists and testing.
Coordinate development of programs/activations to expand the theatre's marketing reach.
Collaborate with local businesses and attend community events.
Support influencer relations and content ideation for events.
Coordinate day-to-day digital marketing activities with the Marketing Manager.
Maintain marketing assets and schedules.
